See? Drugs aren’t so bad after all, especially naturally-occuring ones. When you think of it, it’s still created by God, for mankind’s use. Henceforth, the concern is would only whether one overuses or misuses the drug. Rickshaw pullers and labourers in the past used opium to keep themselves going; it was more of a supplement than some kind of wasteful joy-drug.
Another thing: does it not confound you how cigarettes came to be a lesser evil than drugs such as poppy and, as referred to in the article, hemp? It’s clear that this is all part of a conspiracy!

actually, marijuana and other drugs come under intoxicants (or ‘khmar’ in arabic, meaning ‘cover’, as in to cover the mind) in the quran, and is expressly forbidden.
[2:219] They ask you about intoxicants and gambling: say, “In them there is a gross sin, and some benefits for the people. But their sinfulness far outweighs their benefit.” They also ask you what to give to charity: say, “The excess.” GOD thus clarifies the revelations for you, that you may reflect,

whereas tobacco gives different sensations, it doesn’t actually make you unconscious of what you’re doing.
