I’m so proud of my brother! And I’m proud to announce this here too!
This is not to say that the recognition is important or necessary, but while present, I believe it might serve as a form of encouragement to a such a budding writer or poet as himself. Even if he didn’t win this prize, I am still happy to know that he’s writing, or at least, he has put some effort into writing.
Is it my imagination or do I really feel somewhat more connected with him now? Or maybe it’s just a ‘big brother’ thing (*wink wink*).
