Everyone must watch this! (UPDATE: I’ve watched it 3 times and still find it funny!)
Robert Newman’s History of Oil (45 mins)
Totally hilarious stuff, but with a serious message at the end about the state of our world’s energy source — oil. Robert is extremely witty! I especially loved his impersonation of Tony Blair. I didn’t understand some parts, though, because it was too fast or too heavily accented. But I’m sure you’d still like his comical style.
A question to history students: have you been told of this version of World War I before (i.e. NOT the murder of Archduke Ferdinand) ?
