(Warning: Prose inspired by extreme software idolatry follows. Alternative title: “Apple: the only REAL typeface renderer on earth”.)
Ever since I tried the Safari beta for Windows, I never looked back. Why has the world been missing this for so long? Once one gets acquainted with Apple’s smooth typeface rendering, it becomes very intriguing why many have accepted anything less decent.
And to add, it’s fast too.
Go try it. At this moment, I’m running an instance of Windows XP within Linux just to use Safari. (Wow, that’s like the best of three worlds.) If only they had a Linux version for it.

Ooohh.. yea it’s pretty. But how’s the compatability issues?
ah. in less than an hour, it froze once and crashed another time. How unfortunate that it is not stable on my computer.
Yeah, I guess that’s predictable for a product that’s clearly in beta stage :) If you know how to use the Activity window, it makes downloading embedded videos so easy :)
